Do you want to go on a trip to Ghent with kids? The House of Alijn is the place to be for a fun museum visit with your kids!
Warm up your vocal cords and muscles because the sound game is a walk in Ghent's historical city centre for active families!
Discover together with your kids how much everyday life has changed. How did people live in the past? And how do we live now? The interactive challenges make the museum visit especially enjoyable for young and old. Dress up in your Sunday best, flick through old photo albums, take a break in the crafts or reading corner, do a silly orange dance or take a photo together in the Photomatique.
Reservations are no longer compulsory, but you can still make them: online or by calling T 09 235 38 00.
A museum visit makes you hungry and thirsty! Fortunately, there’s a museum café and a courtyard where you can take a break and enjoy a drink. Or colour in one of our colouring pictures to take home as a souvenir of your museum visit.
Connect 4, a beer top, ring toss, giant mikado, memory cards,… The game box contains fun games that you can borrow free of charge at the museum’s reception to play in the courtyard.
The House of Alijn is an official babyspot. Are you looking for a spot where you can change your baby’s nappy or breastfeed? Talk to a staff member of the museum, who will gladly help you.
