Enter a world of scientific inventions, faraway places, human oddities and magic shows.
Nowadays the fair is all about big, fast rides. But that wasn't always the case. More than 100 years ago, it was completely different. Those who went to the fair discovered magic shows, new scientific inventions, exotic animals and 'miracle' workers. Would you like to know what things were like at the fair in the late 19th and early 20th centuries? This exhibition will reveal all. For families with children, there is a family trail through the exhibition.
Curious about the ‘tricks up their sleeve’? Discover rare wonders and experience the funfair of the late 19th century. Never seen before!
“Fairground wonders” is a temporary expo of the House of Alijn and runs from 20.06.25 to 26.04.26.
Visit “Foorwonder” with your class, family or group of friends and enjoy an advantage. Choose a unguided visit or experience a fascinating guided tour.
