Daily and special events define the rhythm of our lives. The very first baby pictures, games on the playground, the annual summer holidays, saying goodbye to a loved one. How we deal with these moments and emotions evolves over time, is at once personal and universal.

GUIDED TOUR

An interactive tour focusing on everyday life in the 20th and 21st centuries. The guide makes students reflect on how traditions, rituals and customs evolved and how we use them today.

  • For whom: 1st year to the 6th year secondary school

    • 95,00 € per guide

    • Admission to the museum is free for students (under 18) and accompanying adults.

  • Max. 20 participants per guide (including accompanying adults). Is your group larger? If so, split the group and book more than one guide. A maximum of 3 groups can start at the same time.

Expo 'Fairground wonders'

Nowadays the fair is all about big, fast rides. But that wasn't always the case. More than 100 years ago, it was completely different. Those who went to the fair discovered magic shows, new scientific inventions, exotic animals and 'miracle' workers. Would you like to know what things were like at the fair in the late 19th and early 20th centuries? This exhibition will reveal all. For families with children, there is a family trail through the exhibition.

Curious about the ‘tricks up their sleeve’? Discover rare wonders and experience the funfair of the late 19th century. Never seen before!
