In 'C’est Party!', pupils discover how people celebrated and enjoyed going out in the past and how they do so today. Together with their classmates, they explore how music, dance and celebrations have evolved over time. A visit to the exhibition is great fun too: pupils can listen to music, try out different dance moves and make discoveries together in a new and inspiring environment.
GUIDED TOUR: C’EST PARTY!
An interactive guided tour introducing pupils to 100 years of party culture. They look, listen and take part in a range of activities throughout the exhibition. The guide adapts the visit to suit the age and level of the class.
Who is it for? Upper primary school pupils (ages 10-12), tailored to the level of the group.
Duration? 1 hour 30 minutes

Price:
Maximum 20 participants per guide, including accompanying adults. Larger groups should be divided into smaller groups and book additional guides. Only one group can start per time slot, with a 15-minute interval between groups.
Choosing a guided tour offers a richer experience, with stories, music and visual materials, providing an engaging alternative to the audio guide.

A fun and lively day out in Ghent, where your pupils can explore themes such as music, dance, leisure and recreation.

Price? Admission to the museum is free for pupils (under 18) and accompanying adults. Maximum 20 participants per group (including accompanying adults). Is your group larger? Would you like to visit the exhibition independently? Each pupil can explore the exhibition at their own pace using an individual audio guide and headset.
Booking:
Explore the museum of daily life through the annual calendar. You will be introduced to important life stages and rituals from the daily lives of as many as four generations. How much has changed! What did your parents and (great) grandparents used to play with? When did the first television arrive? How do you get up in the morning today and what was it like before? Why did they wear a black wedding dress? What did a class used to look like and what toys did you get from Sinterklaas?
