There’s a party going on at Huis van Alijn. To celebrate our new exhibition on 100 years of nightlife in Flanders and Brussels, we are organising a free DJ set every Late Thursday together with our neighbours and partners at Music Mania Records 2.
DJs will keep the party going from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Visit the museum before or after your time on the dance floor and enjoy a festive evening out. The perfect after-work activity! Mo & Benoeli, better known as The Glimmers, are a DJ duo from Ghent consisting of Mo Becha and David Fouquaert. They began their DJ careers in the 1980s after being introduced to the emerging New Beat scene.

At the House of Alijn, discover how we live, party, love and relax. Together with your family and friends, reminisce and exchange stories about the past and present.
During an interactive visit, you will discover many recognisable objects, photos, sounds and videos from the 20th and 21st centuries. Rummage through photo albums, read out a New Year's letter, redo your opening dance or challenge each other to a game of Pac-Man.
Stop by for a drink in our authentic museum café or during the summer months in the courtyard garden, an oasis in Ghent.
